What is CARES and CSSRA Funding

In 2020, the federal government approved funds to be dispersed to schools as a response to the impact of COVID-19 on education.

What Can This Funding Be Used On?

The CARES Act allows schools to use funds to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19. Additionally, the CRSSA Act allows funds to be used for addressing learning loss and preparing schools for reopening.

How Does This Apply to Physical Education?

Physical activity is more important now than ever before. Due to COVID-19, teaching Physical Education has been challenging, but personal equipment packs, evidence-based curriculum, and COVID response products can make class fun and safe again.
