John Mathieu Roussell, PhD, the director of “No Excuses!”, a film about quality physical education”morphed a professional career as a media performer, director, editor, television sports anchor and journalist into an academic career. He has been a professorin media arts, design, and technology (MADT) at California State University, Chico for over 25 years. His major areas of study include the concepts and application of multimedia storytelling in all stages from concept to distribution. He continues to produce and generate media content for both entertainment and instruction. In addition to the “No Excuses!” film, Roussell has co-authored a textbook, contributed media content to the supportrealteachers website and produced a wide variety promotional projects specifically related to Quality Physical Education.
